Described as spicy, they turned out to be smothered in what appeared to be cheap nacho cheese sauce - definitely not what we were expecting for the price. To make matters worse, some of the potatoes were overly charred, making them nearly inedible. The service also left much to be desired. Despite the restaurant not being overly busy, the attention we received was lacking. Additionally, the pressure to tip our server on the spot in front of them was awkward and unnecessary. Overall, I left Malbec feeling disappointed and unlikely to return in the future.
